What Can We Help With Today?

Booking & Quotes

Planning a wedding, gala, conference, sporting event, holiday party, or VIP function? Tell us the date, venue, and expected guest count and we’ll send a same-day quote in most cases. Visit our Booking Request page or call us directly.

Lost or Forgotten Items

If you believe an item was left at one of our coat check, bag check, or luggage check stations, contact us as quickly as possible. Provide:

  • The event name, venue, and date
  • A description of the item (color, brand, identifying details)
  • Your claim ticket number, if you still have it
  • The best phone number and email to reach you

We log every checked item and follow strict reconciliation procedures at the end of each shift. Most forgotten items are identified within 24 to 48 hours and held securely at our San Francisco office until reunited with their owner. We can arrange in-person pickup or shipping at the guest’s preference.

Active Event Support

If you are a venue manager, event planner, or on-site coordinator and need to reach our team during a live event, call our main line — calls during event hours are routed directly to our on-call supervisor.

Billing, Invoices & Payment

Questions about a quote, invoice, deposit, or final bill should be directed to billing through our main email. Please include your event date and invoice number when possible so we can pull your file quickly.

Your feedback shapes how we train, schedule, and improve. If something fell short of the standard you expected — or if a member of our team went above and beyond — we want to hear about it. Email us with the subject line “Feedback” and a member of management will respond personally.

Secure, Tracked Item Handling. Every checked item is logged, tagged, and stored using our proven coat check and bag check protocols. Special care is always taken when handling guest property.

Text Reminders for Guests. Our system can send your guests a friendly text reminder before they leave the venue, dramatically reducing the number of forgotten items and follow-up calls after the event.

Frequently Asked Questions

How quickly will I get a response? Quote requests submitted during business hours typically receive a reply within two to four hours. Emails received after hours are answered first thing the next business day. Urgent same-day or active-event matters should be handled by phone.

How far in advance should I book? For peak season events (October through January, plus wedding season), we recommend booking four to eight weeks in advance. We frequently accommodate shorter timelines and emergency same-week requests when staffing allows — just call us directly.

What areas do you serve? We serve the entire San Francisco Bay Area, including San Francisco, the Peninsula, the South Bay, the East Bay, Marin, and select Wine Country venues. If your venue is outside this footprint, ask us — we may still be able to help.

Do you check items beyond coats and bags? Yes. In addition to coat check and bag check, we provide luggage check, stroller check, oversized item handling, and conference registration services. If you have an unusual request, ask. We’ve handled almost everything.

What if a guest loses a claim ticket? We have a verification protocol for guests who misplace their ticket. The guest will be asked to describe the item in detail, and our staff will confirm ownership before releasing it.

Are your staff insured? Yes. Coat Check Services carries appropriate liability and workers’ compensation coverage. Certificates of insurance can be provided to venues upon request.

Can you handle large-scale conferences and conventions? Absolutely. Our conference check-in and registration teams have served high-profile conferences, conventions, and exhibitions throughout the Bay Area, scaling from intimate dinners to multi-day events with thousands of attendees.
